Yoga Classes in Marysville, WA
When asked about our yoga classes I often get the question, “What style of yoga do you teach?”. I can’t say I teach a specific style. It is a combination or many years of training, yoga workshops, Pilates and the list goes on. I watch the students in my class move and I work with them to learn basic movement patterns. The class is different every time though some things always remain the same. Following is a brief description of a typical class:

After breath work, the body is warmed up by moving the spine through various ranges of motion. Standing and seated Yoga poses (Asanas) are performed starting with basic movements and gradually increasing in challenge.
Class ends with at least five minutes of final relaxation or Savasana. This time provides students an opportunity to unwind, calm and revitalize the body and mind.
This class does not require students to be super flexible or have years of Yoga and Pilates experience. If you aren’t able to do a pose, modifications are always available.
Benefits of this class:
• Relaxation and stress relief
• Increased body awareness and reduced risk of injury
• A toned and flexible body
• Improved balance and athletic performance
• Increased circulation and cardiovascular health
